Accepting Payments via PayPal Checkout

With PayPal Checkout, customers can pay you right from within their web browser. PayPal Checkout allows you to accept online payments from everyone, regardless of whether they have a Paypal account or not.

In Your PayPal Business Account

You need a PayPal Business account to set up PayPal Checkout. To set up PayPal Checkout:   

  1. Click Business Tools.    
  2. Click PayPal Checkout.   
  3. Click Get Started. 
  4. Choose the option that suits you best.

In Your Hiveage Account

To enable PayPal Checkout in your Hiveage account, head to the Integrations section and click on the so-named module.

Enter your PayPal Client ID and the PayPal Secret into the relevant fields.

If you would like this to be your default payment gateway, tick Enable this gateway for all outgoing non-recurring invoices by default.

Click Save and Enable.

If you enable PayPal Standard by default, it will appear as a payment method on all invoices you send from Hiveage.

Alternatively, you can leave it unchecked, and enable Paypal Checkout for individual invoices from each invoice’s  Invoice Settings section.

When Paypal Checkout is activated for an invoice, your clients will see the PayPal button at the bottom of the invoice when they decide to  Make a payment.
